"I knew before my eldest started at Chalfont St Peter Montessori that this was the place for my children. The way Ms Jack and her team welcomes, nurtures and educates all the children that come through their doors is second to none helping to ensure they have a solid foundation for wherever they follow on to. Ms Jack treats every parent and their child as though they are her family and the care she and her team provides supersedes any I have seen elsewhere. Early years is definitely their forte and putting the children in strong standing for further education. From the way they learn to greet at the door, the method in wearing their coats in an easy manner to independently selecting the activities that pique the child's interests. Not only do Ms Jack and her team support and cater to each child's needs, they provide a range of extra-curricular activities during the day for the children to partake in which they thoroughly enjoy. "Our son started at this nursery at 3 years old and he loves it there. He used to be sad at parting but the teachers always responded to him sensitively and talked him through it. All of the staff are very warm and approachable and he feels safe there. The atmosphere in the nursery is peaceful, joyful and positive. This nursery offers amazingly varied and high quality extracurricular activities covering sports, nature and art. The structure of a day and the environment are very well thought-out to support play and focused learning. The principal and founder still teaches at the nursery regularly so it is obvious this nursery is not a commercial project but is run by people who truly care about creating a wonderful place for children that feels like a family. They organise multiple events every term for parents to visit the nursery. Our son has become so much more confident and has learnt a lot since he has started. They attended training courses with me on autism and took on board suggestions from various specialists involved with my son to help him develop in areas that he was finding challenging.
